Positive

I have decided to dedicate this blog to everything positive in life. Foremost would be my religion i.e. Islam. I turn towards Allah swt & the Al_Qur'an for everything, the Prophet Muhammad saw sunnah for guidance. Secondly those who had given so much to me in my life i.e. my parents. Late father Mohamed bin Omar. I miss you dearly & wishing Allah swt would always show grace towards you. My mother. Who has taught me things that sometimes we just need to accept things. She has shown courage in going on living while her beloved husband is no longer beside her. The courage to go on. I look up to you for that mom. My wife & son. Greatest inspiration of all that she has shown never to give up & love unconditionally. Having some laughs & life should not always be too serious. Never forgetting her dreams & to chase them with determination. My son, angry birdy & iggy. Play, work while at same time having fun. Life's little choices. Simple essence. An inspiration to your father & hopefully one day I will be yours to be inspired. My wife's parents, who teaches me to accept others as they are and take life with your head held high. Who you were last time & who you are right now doesnt matter. Its who you want to be and where you see yourself later in life. Live life everyday at the moment. Both are more like my friends than a mother & father. Total opposite of my real parents but both teaching the same virtues in their own ways. My small circle of friends, although I dont have any close friends, some provided the greatest comfort during the hardest moments. I thank you for being there to just cheer me up. You know who you are.

My past may not be great. I once had my own dreams for the future & how it should look like according to how I see it. Not living in my own world. But somehow got lost in my own dreams. I guess dreaming without actions is indeed wasteful. It is no longer dreaming & the giant within me has awaken. It is all about doing. Chase my dreams & turn them into realities while at same time hold to those I cherish most in this short life. My new goal in life is to inspire & have the most impact to this world. Maybe in my own way. A ponzi scheme. Pay forward. I shall do that. Do 2 good deeds to 2 people & have them do the same thing with another. Repeat the process until the goodness are spread. I will be listing my 100 goals or to do list in life. However, before I go any further, just to share on the 7 basic goal categories which represents the most important areas that you need to develop in life in order to have a balanced view of things. Failure to do so doesnt mean you will not have a happy ending but there will always be uncertainties waiting for you just around the corner. So lets begin.

The 7 basic goal categories that you need to develop are as follows:

  1. Mental - the functions of your mind - memory, concentration, learning, creativity, reasoning, and mathematical abilities
  2. Physical - overall fitness, % body fat, skills and abilities, agility & endurance
  3. Family - relationship with the special people you consider to be part of your family
  4. Social - relationship with others outside your family & outside your business i.e. friends
  5. Spiritual - relationship between you and your Creator
  6. Career - involvement in chosen field, both on and off job
  7. Financials - the management of financial resources and obligations
So there you have it. I will be going through some examples of each of the above & we will see whether my 100 to-do list matches any of the above categories. If not some, maybe more. Aim high for the stars. If you do fall short, make sure it lands on the moon or highest peak in the world. Well, will continue with the life goals for each 10 years horizon with the end in mind.

My new diary..

Life has been tough for the past few weeks. Apart from it was coming to a realisation that my life will never be the same again. Well it shouldnt be the same because if it is still the same then I have not changed at all. I am thankful of the experience given which shows that Allah swt still loves me & didnt want me to float aimlessly. Drift and astray. I have a new purpose in life now. More laser focused after this. To think that I can grow into a better stronger man after this excites me.Windows of opportunities opening up. Every hardship is a test of patience & endurance from Allah swt. Testing our patience. Will to keep on going & facing the challenges He has put forth for us. No one said being successful was easy & so is life. It should never be easy as if it is smooth sailing then we will always forget & tend to lose sight of whats important in our life. The whole purpose of why Allah swt planned on certain things. To learn, grow, while at same time become His humble servant who  keeps seeking His assistance & guidance for happiness in this & the after life. I thank you Allah swt for this experience as if I didnt go through it, I may never learn & value the important things in my life. Value what I have. Value what you have. Syukur.
